Emmerson Mnangagwa took over power from Mugabe, most Zimbabweans hoped that the new leadership would lead a change in fortunes from the former British colony, battered by decades of misrule. Emmerson Mnangagwa promised reform, new investments and the international rehabilitation of Zimbabwe, which most of young Zimbabweans have not seen. At rallies Emmerson Mnangagwa spoke of his country being open for business and promised good days ahead.
Instead most of Zimbabwean people's living conditions have deteriorated dramatically, which in fact the working class earns the equivalent of about £40 a month which is barely enough to feed a family and pay bills. Most Zimbabwean poeple thought when Mugabe went things would get better but unfortunately things went from bad to worse. Most Zimbabwean people survive on 2 meals a day which is not enough for a growing child, only the wealthy people are spared, Zanu Pf officials are not feeling what most Zimbabweans people are feeling because its all down to them looting. Emmerson Mnangagwa administration is a rogue regime plundering national resources...
According to a report in 2017 $13.2 billion was stolen and one would think if that sort of money was used wisely that sort of money can transform Zimbabwe into a upper middle tier economy in a short period of time. Since Emmerson became president of Zimbabwe he has looted to the point that 95% are unemployed and 79% live in extremely poverty. Most Zimbabweans resort to drinking muddy water, unclean water due to the rains but with that said Zanu Pf could easily fix that problem, water supplies could be fixed. At this rate there is no stopping the corruption of Emmerson Mnangagwa and his Zanu pf officials.
