NO GRIP ON THE MEDICAL

Ever since Covid-19 started the Zimbabwean health crisis has been worsened. Years of neglect and doctors strikes and in some cases nurses walking out have pushed the Zimbabwean health care system to the brink.

According to some reports there were cases of seven babies were stillborn, after urgent treatment was delayed because of a nurses strike, it captured the heart- rending health crisis in the country. President Emmerson Mnanagwa should be ashamed of himself because he has lost total grip of the country. I mean what do you expect having Constantine Chiwenga being  the Health Ministry of Zimbabwe, this is man who has no clue about the health industry, this is man who is a corrupt politician milking from the system and his background being the former army general , that is why it is evident that the health crisis in Zimbabwe is in shambles.

Strikes have been a common thing in Zimbabwe all because doctors and nurses are not being paid enough and unfortunately this has affected all health-care services such as dialysis, acute medical and surgical and chronic Hiv care. It had been reported one of the hospitals in the capital would turn away patients who were severely affected by COVID-19 would get turned away because it only has enough staff to support the use of 30 beds, and even in some cases the patients who were lucky enough to get a bed, their treatment  would take so long and unfortunately it would result a lot people dying or being disabled.

The health care system is on its knees. something has to be done. Emmerson Mnanagwa needs to do the right thing and step down and let the opposition party CCC run the country. The damage has been done but it can be fixed.
