What genuine progress has Emmerson Mnangagwa the President of Zimbabwe so far ever since he took office in November 2017? The answer to that is absolutely nothing. There are no laws in Zimbabwe, it is quite worrying that those who oppose the government cannot speak against them, no freedom of speech, especially those who are tired of regime which has oppressing the people of Zimbabwe fro more than 43 years. Job Sikhala a member of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) has been in custody for more than a year, for speaking out against the government Zanu-Pf for the killing of a opposition activist. Just because Job Sikhala cried out for justice he was arrested by the police. His continued incarceration has stoked concerns over another government crackdown on opposition politicians.
Economic mismanagement under Emmerson Mnangagwa has stymied the economy, further exacerbated hyperinflation and the currency devaluing rapidly. This is the man who is asking for another term, yet he has imprisoned activists, looted the system, bled Zimbabwe dry for all the resources, banned Citizens Coalition for Change( CCC) rallies, enforced violence to those who oppose the government Zanu-Pf and the fact that this coming elections like all other elections favour him. Honestly it was time Emmerson Mnangagwa hung up his boots.
